Against the Herd Is 6 Months Old: The Most-Read Posts So Far

I have to admit, it feels like it’s been much longer than six months since I revitalized this blog again in the middle of March of this year.  I had set a goal not to force an artificial pace for myself but, rather, to write only when I felt inspired to do so.

So far, that inspiration has come to me forty-five times in the last six months.  I must say, that’s actually quite a bit more writing that I expected.  More importantly, however, this process has been much more personally-gratifying and cathartic than I ever imagined.

It’s been a fun surprise to see which posts have become the most popular; they’re not necessarily the ones I expected.  The blog posts below are, in descending order of popularity, the seven most-read posts so far.

1. 3 Simple Characteristics of Your Company’s Best Managers
2. 14 Steps to a Great Resume
3. 8 Grammar Rules Every Businessperson Knows But Frequently Misuses
4. 4 Steps to Achieving the Impossible
5. Why Projects Fail: A Simple Model for Project Teams
6. The Million Dollar Question: A Very Personal Perspective
7. The Herd Effect: Why People Strive to Be Average

I’m looking forward to the next six months.  Best wishes to all of you out there.

Sincerely,

Bassam.
