nice, humble, dedicated

I want all six…

But, I’d take…
nice” over “ambitious,”
humble” over “accomplished,”
and “dedicated” over “smart”
…any day.

    The “dedicated vs. smart” line stopped me for a second. I felt better when I imagined a person who was smart but not dedicated. Of course dedicated but not smart is challenging as well. This reminds me of one of my long time favorite HBR articles: Competent Jerks, Lovable Fools, and the Formation of Social Networks. http://ow.ly/oooHQ
